SHILLONG: The BJP Shillong city district in its meeting held on June 25 nominated office bearers for the Shillong city committee and for four Mandals.
In Shillong city, the vice presidents are Edward L Kharwanlang and Ashok Singhania, while Mickey Shabong is the general secretary.
The secretaries are Sonny Khyriem, Lurshai Lyngwa and Joydev Dutta while J P Singh was nominated as treasurer.
The executive members include Rajib Bhowmik, Andy Lyngwa, Parash Rai, Manoj Gaur, Sisir Shahoo, Mathew Kharpran, Smriti Sunar, Sumith Baidya, Steward Malngiang and GC Nongbet.
The mandal president for East Shillong is E. Kharbamon while H Marbaniang was named the South Shillong president. In Pynthorumkhrah, B Wanswett was named the president while JEL Pyngrope was elected for Mawlai.
