New Delhi: Belgium Ambassador to India, Jan Luykx, on Tuesday met Chief Minister Mukul Sangma at the Meghalaya House, New Delhi.
No details of the meeting were available, but the meeting assumes significance since Belgium has expressed interest in cooperating in the tourism sector in the North East, particularly in Meghalaya.
It may be reminded that six children from Meghalaya will be part of new families in the European Union after they are adopted legally by Prospective Adoptive Parents (PAPs) from Spain and Belgium.
