Joshi to meet Cong leaders on July 5

New Delhi: AICC general secretary in charge Meghalaya, C.P. Joshi, will meet of leaders of the State Congress and of frontal organisations on July 5. There will be no separate or one to one meetings with the legislators.
“The MPCC has been requested to prepare the meeting plans and accordingly I shall meet the party leaders and workers,” Joshi told The Shillong Times here on Tuesday.
“This is my first visit and I want to have interaction with the legislators and the party functionaries,” Joshi said.
When asked if Chief Minister Mukul Sangma, who is currently in New Delhi, met him, Joshi replied in the negative, saying, “He met me last time in AICC headquarters”.
Joshi will arrive in Shillong on July 4 and return the next day. Throughout the day he will have meetings with Congress leaders.
The chief minister, meanwhile, is leaving for Mumbai on Wednesday for the North East business and cultural meeting from where he will return to Shillong.
