SHILLONG: Unidentified miscreants have used the name of the East Jaintia Hills deputy commissioner and reportedly issued fake appointment letter to a woman for a job in the DC office.
The victim Alabaster Lamare was given the fake appointment to the post of LDA in DC office in Khliehriat.
When contacted, East Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner W.R. Lyngdoh said he had no knowledge of the incident.
