Jayaram jumps to top 20; Saina, Sindhu static

Kuala Lumpur: Indian shuttler Ajay Jayaram rise two places to be back into top 20 in the latest badminton world rankings issued on Thursday.
Jayaram was placed at 20th spot with 43673 points, while Praneeth, who improved his ranking after his maiden Canada Open win, slipped two places to 35th due to his US Open exit.
In the women’s singles rankings, Saina Nehwal and P V Sindhu managed to hold on to their 5th and 10th spots respectively. (PTI)
