SHILLONG: A man killed his father after his father assaulted his mother at Kalaichar village in West Garo Hills.
Police said the incident happened on July 8 when Rajendra Hajong (50) allegedly assaulted his wife Protima Hajong at their home at Kalaichar village.
On seeing this, their son Rahul Hajong (22) assaulted his father which led to his death.
Necessary formalities were observed and the cadaver was sent to hospital for postmortem.
