SHILLONG: The members of Mawshynrut Block Congress Committee met Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Tuesday to request him to inaugurate the Mawshynrut Civil Sub-division and Riangdo police station at the earliest.
The Congress members also expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for announcing the Civil Sub-division and the Police Station. The Chief Minister on the other hand promised to do the inaugurations by October 2016.
The party members also submitted a memorandum for setting up of a PHC at Seinduli and a sub-centre at Riangkang besides requesting metalling and black topping of Riangdo-Bamil road and Shallang-Shallang PHC Complex stretch.
