SHILLONG: The BDO of Mawsynram block has filed an FIR against the secretary of Seng Khasi Hima Mawsynram for misusing of funds under MPLADS.
P. Mukhim, BDO, C&RD Block Mawsynram lodged a complaint that during the year 2013-14, Tyllilang Myrthong, who was the secretary of Seng Khasi Hima Mawsynram withdrew an amount of Rs 75,000 out of Rs 1,50,000 sanctioned under MPLADS for construction of cremation ground at Mawlongbna village, however, the accused did not work on the project.
