HS Shylla ready for debate with HSPDP

SHILLONG: Taking a keen interest in starting the debate with HSPDP, H.S. Shylla, adviser, UDP Nongkrem Circle said that he has written to the president Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong Khyrim Mylliem Lum to hold the debate.
Shylla has written to Stenis L. Pyngrope, headman of Laitkor Rngi and president of Ka Synjuk ki Nongsynshar Shnong Khyrim Mylliem Lum.
He highlighted various issues for the open debate which included traditional institutions and headmen issue, Article 244 (2) for strengthening the district councils, encroachment by MUDA, compulsory registration   ) of marriage Act, to uphold the traditional system of kinship. Shylla has appealed Pyngrope to fix the date, time and place of the debate and to start within the second week.
