Teachers’ meet
The Meghalaya Upper Primary School Teachers’ Association (MUPSTA) will organize the State Level Executive Committee meet on July 26 at the residence of the president of the organization, K. Shadap at Professor Colony, Kharmalki, Malki at 11.00 AM.
The emergency executive meeting of the Federation of All Meghalaya Adhoc Secondary Teacher Association (FAMASTA) will be held on July 25 at Arya Kanya Vidhyalaya Secondary School, Laitumkhrah at 11 am.
Felicitation programme
As part of the 81st Foundation Day celebrations of Lady Keane College, a felicitation programme to honour meritorious students and teaching staff will be organised at 10:30 am on July 25.
General meeting
The general meeting of the Fair Price Shop Dealers Association will be held at State Central Library Seminar Hall at 11 am.
Shillong College Alumni Association will hold its general meeting at the college campus at 3 pm on July 26. All the alumni of the college have been requested to attend the meeting in which new office bearers will be elected.
Med camp postponed
The Khasi Cultural & Social Service Society (KCSSS) has postponed its free medical camp to be held on July 23 at Mawsynram due to heavy rain. The date of the next camp will be announced later.
Medical camp
A free medical camp being organised by the BJP 19-South Shillong Mandal scheduled to be held at Goenka Hospital will now be held at Arya Vidyalaya School, near Jhalupara from 9:00 am onwards on July 24.
Fine realized
The Shillong Traffic Police has realised a fine of Rs 34,300 from overloaded local taxis and auto rickshaws plying in the city.
