Summersalt’s debut video album screened

SHILLONG: One of the most well known and prominent bands from Shillong, Summersalt on Saturday has screened the music videos of its debut album here at the St Anthony’s College.
Altogether four music videos-two each from Khasi and English-were screened   in the college and every video was applauded by the packed auditorium of the Mass Com department of the college.
During the screening, the students and teachers also raised many queries about the music videos and its production .
Kit (Kitkupar Cajee Shangpliang) after the screening said that the programme was a success since it was a critique for their work besides it was an informational, educational and learning   programme for the students.
“I am happy that the students took the programme in the right spirit as it was an educational and intellectual exercise for them,” Kit said
The debut album which has been named as Summersalt so far comprises twelve songs and the album will be released in August-September this year.
Impressed with the music videos of the band, some students from the college even approached Summersalt expressing their wishes to use some of the songs for their campus radio.
