‘Homa Bread safe’

SHILLONG: Homa Bread (Nu Bake) has claimed that after testing by the office of the District Medical and Health Officer, West Garo Hills for potassium bromate and other parameters, it was found that the bread matched the criteria laid down by Food Safety and Standards Authority of India. In a statement, Homa Bread said that the bread is safe for consumption and does not contain any cancer causing chemicals.
