One electrocuted in city

SHILLONG: One person died after coming into contact with a live power line at Upper Shillong.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning around 11 AM when one Bahrit of Umlyngka, Upper Shillong, came into contact with a high tension power line while plucking pears from a tree.
He was rushed to Shillong civil hospital where he was declared dead.
