SHILLONG: The staff of Mawryngkneng PHC have come out in support of the Medical Officer (MO) of the health centre against whom an FIR was filed by the local dorbar shnong. The local body had accused the MO of negligence in running the health centre.
Defending the MO the staff said that the issue of non availability of electricity at the PHC was raised many a time by the doctor. The staff also claimed that medicines are being regularly procured by the health centre.
