Synod College launches post graduate course

SHILLONG: The Synod College launched the post graduate course, MA in Political Science on Saturday.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, Shillong MP Vincent H. Pala lauded the efforts of the College which under the guidance of Principal, D Wanswett achieved another milestone in its journey of imparting quality education.
Pala, the chief guest on the occasion, also inaugurated the International Centre for North East Studies opened by Synod College.
This Centre will facilitate innovative and qualitative multidisciplinary research in key areas relevant to the North East such as climate change and sustainability, governance, culture studies and indigenous people and human rights.
This Centre will undertake collaborative research work with scholars from different universities and research centres within India and outside.
