JOWAI: The West Jaintia Hills District Executive Force conducted an awareness programme under the Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP) for candidates who have applied for various posts in the Meghalaya Police Department.
Around 30 candidates under Amlarem Civil Sub-Division participated in the awareness programme. West Jaintia Hills District Police chief R Muthu said a similar programme would be conducted at Raliang, Nartiang, Dawki and Jowai in September. The recruitment is likely in October.
