Minor girl found
Rilut Syad, Social Worker, District Child Protection Unit, Khliehriat lodged a complaint that Childline workers found one minor girl  Kalmina Choudhury (10) from Soo Kilo (EJH) and whereabouts of her parents are yet to be known.
Cash withdrawn fraudulently
A woman identified as Sunita Choudhury lodged a complaint that on June 13, at around 11.20 am, unknown miscreants fraudulently withdrew Rs. 10,352 from her account at Canara Bank, Lady Keane College Branch.
Assault
One  Anil D Sangma and two others lodged a complaint that on August  30 at around 7 pm, two persons, Stanley Celestine D Sangma and Dikson D Sangma, who were under influence of alcohol, assaulted them at Katradua village, Dangar (EKH), causing injuries to them.
Vehicle stolen
On August 31, miscreants stole a vehicle belonging to one Hamklet Lamurong from Rnga village East Jaintia Hills.
Girl missing
A woman lodged a complaint that on August 29 at around 9 am, her 16-year-old niece Moby left her residence at Police Bazar leaving behind a note that she had secured “a job nearby”. However, the complainant said that the girl called her up on Friday and informed that she would return home on Saturday.
