Teachers’ Day
The Teachers’ Day will be celebrated at U Soso Tham auditorium at 11 am. Deborah Marak, Minister in charge of Education will be the chief guest on the occasion.

Card surrender
The Deputy Commissioner (Supply), West Jaintia Hills District has urged the government employees and pensioners to surrender their National Food Security Act (NFSA) cards to the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Supply), on or before September 8.

Alumni meet
The past pupils of Mawkhar Christian Higher Secondary School have been requested to attend a general get-together of MCHS Alumni Association on September 10 at 11:00 a.m. on the School premises. Special discussion shall be held on the Quasquicentennial (125th anniversary) Jubilee of the school to be held in October.
