Chemists oppose online medicine purchase

SHILLONG: The Meghalaya Health Care Association, which is affiliated to the All India Organisation of Chemists and Druggists, has opposed online sale of medicines.
The Association said use of internet for medical advice and buying medicines online have proved fatal in many cases. It further said if the State fails to consider their demand, then the All India Organisation would launch a nationwide agitation.
