Photo Exhibition
Lions Club of Shillong is organizing a photo exhibition on Saint Teresa on October 4 and 5 at Savio Hall opposite Loreto Convent, Dhanketi  from 10 AM to 5 PM. Noted photo journalist, Sunil K. Debate
Women’s College Shillong will organise the 12th F.I. Hussain Memorial Inter-College Debate Competition on September 10 at 1 PM in the college auditorium  on the topic – In the opinion of the house ‘Student leaders make good politicians’. Robert G Lyngdoh, Vice Chancellor, Martin Luther Christian University Shillong, will be the speaker for the event.

The District Magistrate East Khasi Hills District has informed that application forms for fresh fire work license is available in the office of the District Magistrate East Khasi Hills District, Shillong. The form will be issued till September 10 and the last date for receipt of application forms will be on September 15. Renewal of firework licenses will have to be completed 30 days before Diwali.

Workshop
A one day workshop on ‘Interview Skills and Career Guidance’ was organized by the Department of Education and Career Guidance and Counseling Cell, Tirot Sing Memorial College, Mairang at the College on September 6.
