FKJGP meets Don Bosco Society over unemployment

SHILLONG: A delegation of FKJGP (Mawlai Circle) members met the authorities of Don Bosco Technical Society in Laitumkhrah on Wednesday to discuss the increasing unemployment in the State.
The pressure group, in a press communiqué, said the Society has assured jobs for the youth “provided they sincerely complete the two-month training”. Any person above the age of 18 can apply for training at the Society with a payment of Rs 1,000 as admission fee, of which Rs 500 will be refunded, the delegation was informed.
FKJGP has urged all unemployed youth to take the opportunity to enroll for training in electrical (for males only), hospitality, industrial sewing machine operator etc.
