SHILLONG: Unknown miscreants broke into Purbasa Guest House in Laban recently and stole items worth Rs 34,500. The thieves took away two LED TVs and one Canon cartridge.

SHILLONG: A woman was reportedly brought dead at Civil Hospital Shillong on September 14. The woman Banila Ao (27) was a resident of Madanrting.

KHNAM demand

SHILLONG: The KHNAM youth wing has urged the Executive Member (EM) in-charge Labour, KHADC to ensure that non-tribal drivers of local and tourist taxis possess labour license. In a statement issued here, KHNAM alleged that such drivers do not posses valid documents which are to be obtained from the District Council thus affecting the revenue generation of the KHADC.
