SHILLONG: Two Independent MLAs from Garo Hills, Saleng Sangma and John Leslee Sangma, who have been supporting the Opposition in the State Assembly, have reportedly started cooperating with the State government.
Chief Minister Mukul Sangma on Friday told reporters that though both the MLAs have not formally extended their support to the government, they are ‘cooperating’.
Reacting to a query, he said the party would discuss the matter before officially inviting them to support the government and added that their support would benefit the State and its people.
