SHILLONG: The Greater Laban Community Development Society organized a felicitation programme on September 17 where 49 crèche and crematorium workers were recognized for their dedication towards the welfare of babies, children and the public in general.
All the awardees were presented with certificates, citations and gift hampers.
MLA Sanbor Shullai, who was the chief guest of the function lauded the effort of the members and pledged to provide all awardees with fixed deposit social service scheme in order to support their future livelihood
