Assaulted man dies in Guwahati hospital

SHILLONG: A 23-year-old man, who was assaulted by a group of people at Nangalbibra in South Garo Hills, has succumbed to his injuries.
Police said the incident happened around 9.30 pm on September 12 when one Samser Ali Lambu and his associates assaulted Sanjay Kumar.  Sanjay was taken to Guwahati Medical College where he succumbed to his injuries.
