Probe on in NEHU sexual harassment case

SHILLONG: The inquiry into the alleged sexual harassment of a research scholar by Prof. FA Qadri, Dean of School of Social Science, NEHU, is still going on.
Prof. S Dkhar, chairperson, NEHU Woman Cell, said the cell would need around 5-6 sittings before submitting its report to the university authorities since recording of the statement of witnesses is still far from over. She also informed that the cell has also received the reply of the accused after a letter was issued to him on August 31 asking him to respond to the allegations within 10 days.
