SHILLONG: To commemorate the 84th Anniversary of the IAF, Air Fest 2016 will be organised at ALG ground, Upper Shillong, from September 30 till October 2. The festival will be open to all from 10 am to 4 pm on all three days.
Activities like fly past, aero modeling, static display of aircraft, slithering operation of the IAF’s Special Force ‘Garud’ and performance by the Air Force band will be the main highlights of the event. Food stall will also be available at the venue.
