World Tourism Day
The Tourism Department in collaboration with the Social Welfare Department will observe World Tourism Day on September27 at U Soso Tham Auditorium from 9:30 AM onwards. Beside holding a workshop for stakeholders, an exhibition cum sale of products made by persons with disabilities will be held.
Freshers’ meet
NEHU Assam Students’ Association (NASA) will host a freshers’ meet on September 25 at the multi-use convention hall at 11.00 AM. Noted enviromentalis Padmashree Jadav’ Mulai’ Payeng will attend the programme as the chief guest. Rituraaj Phukan (Robert Swan Antarctica expeditoner), Arun Bhagawati (Editor in Chief, Rangmela Magazine) and Dulu Bora (Sanctuary Asia Tiger Defender awardee) will grace the occasion as guest of honour.
