Coal traders’ body calls public meeting tomorrow

NONGSTOIN: The Hima Nongstoin Land Owners, Coal Traders and Producers Association, on whose appeal the Supreme Court has issued an interim order to sell the already extracted coal in Meghalaya, will hold a public meeting on Tuesday at Nongpyndeng Dorbar Hall here.
In a press statement, A.L Syiem, General Secretary of the association, told that the public meeting, scheduled to start at 11am on Tuesday, would discuss land tenure system of the Khasis and (Contd on P-10)

The Association has requested all coal traders, land owners, drivers, labour unions and the common people of Nongstoin Syiemship to attend the meeting to discuss the court order and take the matter forward.
