Thane: Senior Congress leader Sushilkumar Shinde on Sunday took a jibe at Prime Minister Narendra Modi without taking his name saying he says many things but does nothing.
The former Union home minister was speaking to reporters after attending a function at Bhiwandi in the district.
“The Prime Minister had said that those who attack India will not be spared but after the Pathankot attack, they (terrorists) dared to attack our soldiers in Uri,” he said.
“The Prime Minister says several things but does nothing. We are witnessing worst days during the rule of those who promised ‘Acche Din’ (better days),” Shinde quipped.
On September 18, four terrorists had attacked battalion headquarters of 10 Dogra regiment in Uri killing 18 soldiers.  (PTI)
