TURA: The Garo Hills State Movement Committee (GHSMC) on behalf of the residents of Mindikgre, Matcha Nokpante, Brugittim and Masighat in South Garo Hills has urged state Power Minister Clement Marak to replace the existing faulty transformer providing power to the villages in the district.
Stating that people of these villages especially, school-going children were facing undue hardship due to the absence of power supply for the last one month, the committee urged Marak to provide a transformer to each of the village to ease the hardship of the people.
