Minor girl drowns

SHILLONG: An 11-year-old girl got drowned while taking bath at Shella river. Police said that the incident happened on September 22 around 12.30 pm, when the girl Mukotan Paul of Kalatek village under Shella Police station drowned at the Shella river. The body has been fished out and necessary formalities observed.
