Training in legal literacy underway

SHILLONG: A two-day training of resource persons on legal literacy began in city on Thursday.
The training was organised by State Resource Centre, NEHU as part of the MoU signed between National Literacy Mission Authority, Ministry of Human Resource Development and Department of Justice, Ministry of Law and Justice.
The training is part of the Access to Justice (A2J) NE & J&K Project of the Department of Justice, Government of India.
The project aims to strengthen access to justice for the marginalised people which include-women, scheduled caste, scheduled tribes and minorities.
