15-yr-old ‘raped’ in West Jaintia Hills

SHILLONG: A 15-year-old girl was raped in Nartiang in West Jaintia Hills last week, police said but added that the person is still unidentified. The incident happened around 6.30pm on September 30. The girl in her statement said the man threatened her with dire consequences if she went to police.
In another incident, Damon Sten and others lodged a complaint that one Shilas Sten threatened to rape and kill the girls of the Sten Clan of Mukroh village.
