Shillong: The Ri Bhoi District Congress Committee organized a tree plantation programme at Umbuda, Nongpoh Ri Bhoi District October 1 to observe the 147 birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.
Dignitaries present on this day included D.D.Lapang, advisor to the state government, C.Lyngdoh MLA Umsning Constituency among others.
