Awareness programme on social evils

TURA: An awareness programme on various social issues, like human trafficking and cyber crime, was organised on Tuesday by the Rongram Area Citizens Forum in collaboration with Meghalaya Police at Asanang Multi Facility Building in Rongram Block.
Dikki D Shira, additional Deputy Commissioner and Project Director, DRDA, stressed on the need for every citizen to learn the laws of the country. Describing Rongram as a cosmopolitan with a diverse population of many communities, Shira assured that he would be willing extend all support to help better the education system.
