USTM VC receives Education Excellence award

SHILLONG:  The Search Committee of Confederation of Indian Universities (CIU) conferred the “Education Excellence Award” to Vice Chancellor of University of Science & Technology, Meghalaya, Dr PG Rao at Science City Kolkata on Wednesday.  This award is presented to those identified by the Search Committee of CIU under their policy of locating talented educational planners and administrators out of the existing inventory of academicians who have contributed in the specialized areas related to educational planning and administration besides applied research in the fields of art, culture, ecology, environment etc.
