Death condoled

SHILLONG: The Archdiocese of Shillong has deeply mourned the passing away of Rev Fr Cornelius Khyriem at Nazareth Hospital here on Monday.The funeral mass will be held at the Cathedral of Mary Help of Christians, Shillong on October 19 at 1 pm which will be followed by the funeral cortege to the Laitumkhrah Catholic Cemetery. The mortal remains of Fr. Cornelius was placed at Archbishop’s House here on Monday and will remain there till 11 am on Tuesday.There will also be a concelebrated Requiem Mass at the Cathedral at 5 pm on Tuesday.All priests, family members, faithful and his friends have been urged to attend the services and pray for the repose of his soul.
