One fatally knocked down
On Tuesday around 1.30 am, one truck (NL-01G-6755) fatally knocked down Jinus Rymbai (25) at Puriang, East Khasi Hills.
Driver dead
On Tuesday, around 9.30 am, on reaching at 12th Mile (RB), one Pala Rabha (61), driver of truck (HR-68A-3494) complained of chest pain and was shifted to PHC Byrnihat, where he was declared dead.
Assault
A student of Institute of Hotel Management, Shillong was allegedly assaulted and threatened by three persons in Shillong. Anup Bhardwaj (18), student of IHM Mawdiangdiang lodged a complaint that on Wednesday around 8.30 am, three persons Abhishek Konwar (18), Prashant Kumar (18) and Rohit Kumar (18) assaulted and threatened him with dire consequences at Mawdiangdiang
Fake certificate
Pois Kurbah, Sub-Divisional School Education Officer, Mairang lodged a complaint that one Blinder Wahlang got himself appointed as an assistant teacher at Lawrynjam Government  UP School on February 10 this year bu submitting fake school certificate issued by Nagaland Board of School Education.
Rape, molestation
On October 17 around 1 am, one Laurence Lamin raped a sixteen-year-old girl at her residence in Dawki. In another incident, a  woman lodged a complaint that on October 16, around 10 pm, one Stanlang Khongsit assaulted, outraged her modesty and also damaged window panes of her house at Rangshken Wahjani, East Khasi Hills.
