BJP clears candidate for Amlarem seat

SHILLONG: After clearing the name of six candidates for the by polls to vacant seats in KHADC, the BJP has decided to field Smenlang Kyndait to contest from the lone Amlarem east constituency of JHADC. Kyndait’s name was cleared after a meeting held at the party office here on Saturday chaired by party president Shibun Lyngdoh.
Last week, the BJP had cleared the candidatures of Hubert Marbaniang (Laban-Mawprem) Mamiry Nongkhlaw (Nongkrem), Kyntiewborlang Syiemlieh (Nongspung-Sohiong), Councillor Sing Wahlang (Nongkhlaw-Mairang), Thandarsing Warjri (Pariong-Mawthadraishan) and Denester Pariong (Rambrai-Jyrngam).
