SHILLONG: The Shilliang Um People’s Development Forum (SPDF) has threatened to agitate if the State government does not expedite filling the vacant posts in the office of the assistant executive engineer, PWD sub-division, Mawsaw (Mawkyrwat) in South West Khasi Hills District.
Following an RTI query, which revealed that the posts of various categories are still vacant, the SPDF in a press communiqué slammed the government for the delay in filling the vacancies. They further added that the office was inaugurated in 2009 but alleged that it is not a proper office till date.
