SHILLONG: One Borling Nongbri (33) drowned while swimming in a pond at Mawmaram in Sohiong. The incident happened on Wednesday. In a similar incident, on October 29, one Nipun Hajong of Umbir village in Ranikor drowned at Umngi river. The deceased was reportedly suffering from epilepsy at the time of drowning.
