A loaded twelve-tire truck proceeding towards Guwahati from Lumshnong drove off the road and fell into a stream when the vehicle developed a technical snag. The incident happened at Sumer under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District on November 4 at 1:34 PM. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Umsning helped in shifting the helper of the truck, Valentine Lyngdoh, 35, to Umsning CHC. The driver along with the co-driver died on the spot.
A motorist travelling towards Mendipathar fell off his motorbike on a turning when it skidded and sustained injuries. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Resubelpara helped in shifting the motorist, Anisur Ali, 22, to Mendipathar PHC. The incident happened at Khamari under Krishnai Block, Goalpara District in Assam on November 3 at 8:47 PM.
In a hit and run case, 20-year old Rapborlang Kurbah sustained injuries after he was hit by a moving vehicle while walking on the side of the road. The incident happened at 15th Mile under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on November 3 at 10:27 AM. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Byrnihat helped in shifting Rapborlang Kurbah to Byrnihat PHC.
