APSC chief arrested

Guwahati: The chairman of Assam Public Service Commission, Rakesh Paul, was on Friday arrested by Assam police on allegations of corruption. Reports said Paul was picked up in Guwahati for interrogation by Dibrugarh police.
He was arrested after two hours of interrogation by the police. Paul was facing allegations of corruption, including bribery for clearing APSC examinations and appointments.
