SHILLONG: In a major decision, the election committee of MPCC has extended support to the NCP candidate Ricky Shullai from Laban-Mawprem constituency. The NCP is an alliance partner in the Government.
The decision was taken in a meeting held at the official residence of MPCC president D.D. Lapang on Wednesday.
Earlier, the Congress had named Moon Lyngdoh to contest the seat.
