Seng Kut Snem
The Seng Khasi will be celebrating the 117th Seng Kut Snem on November 23 which marks the formation of the Seng Khasi to protect and preserve the culture and belief of the Khasis.
Clarification
Reach Shillong Ministries clarified that it will not be a recipient to any proceeds generated from the concert ‘Music for change’ organized by Shout Out entertainment and the VAzS INC in association with Souled Out events to be held on November 19.
NCC day
NCC Sankardev College Unit will be celebrating the NCC Day in the college on November 21. The event will include a drill at 11:00 AM followed by a cultural programme.

Traffic regulation
In view of the Dosquicentenial Jubilee celebration which will be held at Sohra on November 20, instructions have been rolled out for owners of vehicles. Vehicles are not allowed to exit once it enters the church venue till the second service ends in the afternoon in order to ease traffic.
Arogya fair
Pynthorumkhrah MLA AL Hek on Friday inaugurated the three-day arogya fair in the city.
NSS camp
National Service Scheme (NSS), Shillong College Unit, conducted its third special camping programme of the year at Nongpathaw Village from October 31 to November 5. Around100 students and local school children took part in the programme.
