Annual prize distribution ceremony at KV NEHU

SHILLONG: Kendriya Vidyalaya NEHU celebrated its annual prize distribution ceremony on the NEHU permanent campus in Mawlai on Saturday.The function started with ‘Saraswati vandana’ and a dance performance by student followed by lighting of lamps by vice-chancellor S.K Srivastava, who was the chief guest at the event. Around 90 prizes were distributed. The winners — the Tagore and the Shivaji Houses received the Annual House Winning Trophy 2016 for the Primary and Secondary sessions.Rashmi Saxena and Vinay Kumar were being honoured for their excellent academic performance in classes X and XII, respectively, for the session 2015-16. S. Choudhary were also being honoured for her long meritorious service in K.V NEHU. Among other guests were registrar J.N Nayak, Punit Gautam and M P Pandey.
