SHILLONG: The process of cable TV digitisation is complete in Shillong. Informing this here on Sunday, proprietor of Pearls Cable TV network Shyam Singhania said that around 35000-40000  customers in Greater Shillong have switched over to  digital mode as part of the Centre’s initiative to digitise cable TV networks in the country.
He, however, said that the process is still underway in some areas in the outskirts of the city.
Cable TV operators in the city switched over to digital mode from January 1 this year. The phase III of digitization in the country is scheduled to be completed by year-end.
