Cash limit
The Deputy Commissioner (Election) West Khasi Hills, Nongstoin has informed that contesting candidates/election agents/political party workers/supporters etc., should not carry cash in excess of Rs. 50,000. Violation, if any, will result to confiscation of the money.
General meeting
The general meeting cum felicitation progamme of the Federation of All Meghalaya Ad hoc Secondary School Teachers Association (FAMASTA) will be held on December 5 at 9 am at St. Jerome Higher  Secondary School, Nongmynsong. Chief Minister Mukul Sangma will be the chief guest on the occasion.
Notification
For RTI matters pertaining to the Border Areas Development department, the Government of Meghalaya has designated the Administrative Department of Border Areas Development as Public Authority, Commissioner & Secretary as Appellate Authority, Planning Officer & Ex-Officio Under Secretary as Public Information Officer and Research Officer & Assistant Research Officer as Assistant Public Information Officers.
