A Maruti Alto  coming from Jowai hit a truck from behind at the Shillong by-pass road on December 2 at 1:50 A.M. The driver along with a co-passenger sustained injuries during the collision which happen at Lumdiengan under Umsning Block, Ri Bhoi District. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Mawryngkneng helped in shifting the driver, Damanme Bang (26 years/male) and Lim Shadap (36 years/male) to NEIGRIHMS.
A Maruti Van  travelling towards Khliehtyrshi from Syntu Ksiar was involved in a collision with another vehicle at Riat Turim under Thadlaskein Block, West Jaintia Hills District on December 1 at 11:02 P.M.  . The driver of the Maruti van, Lasangki Rymbai (40 years/male) sustained injuries and has been shifted by the 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Jowai to Ummulong PHC and then to Shillong Civil Hospital.
In a hit and run case, Nirala Bibi (30 years/female) sustained injuries after she was hit by a moving vehicle at 15th Mile under Umling Block, Ri Bhoi District on December 1 at 2:16 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Byrnihat helped in shifting Nirala Bibi to Byrnihat PHC.
